Summary
The Environmental Reporting Manager will compute, model and ensure accuracy of greenhouse gas emissions reported in enterprise-wide public disclosures and customer-requested reports. This role will possess data analysis expertise and a deep understanding of the customer, operational, and regulatory needs that govern company operations required to develop processes, controls, and put in place the right technologies/resources to support Ryder's emission modeling and environmental disclosure program.

Essential Functions
- Computation, accounting, modeling, and reporting of utility usage data and greenhouse gas emissions for direct and indirect emission sources in company and customer operations, including preparing annual SmartWay, CDP, and CSR submittals
- Provide technical training and support for Ryder business leaders, sales, marketing, and operations teams on emissions modeling, GHG accounting, tracking of sustainability KPIs, and other related initiatives
- Lead development of sustainability performance targets, including emission reduction targets, and calculate and monitor progress toward these targets against established baselines to ensure we meet them
- Maintain Ryder’s GHG inventory management plan with the latest industry and global standards, ensuring use of most up-to-date and complete boundary conditions, emission factors, and methodology in emissions reporting so disclosures are accurate and in accordance with global standards and U.S. regulations

- Proficient with computers including MS Office advanced required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required Environmental Science or related field
- Master's degree preferred Environmental Science or related field
- Five (5) years or more Work experience in an Environmental Management position required
- Five (5) years or more Experience with ESG disclosures, emissions modeling, and utility (energy, water) management. required
- Familiar with Environmental industry or maintenance operations advanced required
- Familiarity with climate change regulations and carbon foot printing advanced required
- Technical knowledge related to Transportation Operations advanced required
- Knowledge of US and International Environmental regulations and laws advanced required
- Proficient with computers including MS Office advanced required
