Position Overview
The Partnerships Manager is a key component of the success and growth of the Partnerships department at Ryder E-commerce. This role will take on and build some of the most critical strategic relationships Ryder E-commerce must deliver long-term focused value, ideate collaborative initiatives, and execute the strategies and goals of the department.
As a Partnerships Manager, you have the opportunity to come in, optimize, and design new initiatives, bring and test fresh ideas, be a part of key infrastructure projects, and impact cross-departmental and customer-facing initiatives. Our goals are to enable the growth of our customers and be a net-giving lead source for our partners, which will enable sustainable long-term lead and revenue growth for Ryder via new and existing customers. Quality over quantity is the name of the game.
A Partnerships Manager is a master of relationship management, marketing, customer success, and demand generation. You will be working with exciting partners and key leaders in the organization to drive innovation and solve challenges.
The Partnerships Manager will be exposed to leading technology, agency, integration, and strategic referral partners to drive shared goals. Internally, they will engage with and ensure collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Success, Support, Operations, Product and Engineering, and more.

Responsibilities
- Own a book of key partners to drive mutual success through value proposition alignment, goal setting, team exposure, sales enablement, co-marketing, and more
- Create a pipeline of potential partners that support the goals and initiatives of the department
- Contribute to the build out of a growing and exciting department at an early stage
- Maintain a deep understanding of Ryder Ecommerce’s solution and ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) to articulate to partners and be the voice and advocate of our business and offering
- Strategize and execute cross-departmental activities that enable outbound lead flow for partners consistently
- Work closely with committed partners to identify and qualify new opportunities and co-selling opportunities for Ryder Sales in the millions in annual deal flow
- Identify existing Ryder customers with Sales and Customer Success that would benefit from our partners’ offerings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for your partners while nurturing the relationship by constantly adding value and being an asset to their organization
- Identify and develop joint “go-to-market” strategies and lead generation opportunities
- Continually improve and iterate our strategy and overall approach to partnerships
- Continually develop your knowledge of post-purchase fulfillment
Skills & Abilities:
- 2 years in partnerships, business development, customer success, and/or Marketing within the eCommerce technology space
- Strong business acumen with track record of exceeding goals
- Demonstrated networking and relationship-building abilities with internal and external teams
- Demonstrated ability to be versatile and highly organized with acute attention to details
- Ability to successfully manage multiple workstreams and prioritize competing projects
- Ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others in both speech and writing
- Intelligent, persistent, curious, and driven to succeed in a career in tech startups
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Openness to coaching and training
- Entreprenurial and creative tendencies to contribute to the growth and development of the department and its internal and external activities
- BONUS: Experience in the ecommerce ecosystem (Shopify, SalesForce, BigCommerce, etc.)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required in a related discipline ( Marketing, Business, etc.) MBA or equivalent work experience preferred.
Five (5) years or more Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support
Five (5) years or more Managing vendors and/or internal representatives
Experience with Salesforce.com (Leads, Campaigns, Accounts, Contacts etc.)
Applicants from California, Colorado, New York, New Jersey and Washington:
Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market
data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or
certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $125K to $145K. Employees may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, as applicable
