What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Support position at Ryerson?

The primary focus of this position is to support the sales & operations teams with order tracking and fulfillment. This dynamic position requires keen attention to detail, someone who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and enjoys problem solving.
  • Processing of shipping documents for AM deliveries
  • Receives inventory and processes adjustments accordingly
  • Create and modify various documents using MS Office; build reports and manipulate data as needed
  • Assisting with scheduling flatbed truck loading and LTL freight transportation
  • Scanning and distribution of mill test reports
  • Other Miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor
Position Requirements:

  • High School Graduate
  • Above average computer skills with the ability to apply knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to exercise appropriate discretion and good judgment in completing job duties and maintaining confidential
information
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers
  • Demonstrated ability to perform within a team environment and add to the overall success of the team

Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years
