We are looking for a Solutions Advisor to join our Customer Experience Team.
  • Develops established customer base and relationships with core customers.
  • Prices most orders independent of management.
  • Builds extensive vendor and internal network.
  • Plans territory/account approach and may provide input into colleagues' approaches; manages own resources.
  • Mentors and trains new team members.
  • Assists in creating account development plans.
  • Performs inventory management for customer specific material.
  • Communicates with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative.
  • Expected to solve problems that are difficult and sometimes complex
  • Other duties as assigned my management and supervision
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • 5-7 years prior sales or industry experience required
  • Extensive product and market knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of Ryerson processes and products
  • Takes initiative - willing to make mistakes, learn and embrace/lead change
  • Strategic thinker; able to make decisions for others in the absence of the sales manager
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected with advance notice

Experience Required: 5 - 7 Years

Education Required: Bachelors Degree Preferred

Salary : $73,400 - $92,900
