Project Coordinator

B&K Enterprises is seeking a Project Coordinator for our Project Management team!

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate ordering, production and receipt of all project related manufactured goods

· Understand product requirements and basic applications of those products, ensuring compliance with State and Turnpike DOT Standards

· Train on all specific DOT processes as well as proprietary systems for project submittals

· Learn the Company Purchase Order process and procedures and create as needed

· Work with our Estimating team to request quotes for extra work performed

· Create and approve material certifications, source of supplies while verifying suppliers are approved by the various DOTs and pricing is withing bid parameters

· Coordinate preliminary and continuing work schedules for all projects with Prime Contractors and communicate to Operations team

· Process shop drawings and submit for approval, send out for fabrication/production

· Provide weekly scope of work to necessary suppliers, vendors or subs

· Prepare and submit stored material requests to the General Contractors and submit to Accounting Department for payment tracking

· Review force account/extra work information and submit internally for processing

· Cross train on inventory systems and ensure information is accurate

Job Requirements:

· Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

· Work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Be able to multi-task and prioritize workload

· Work in a fast-paced environment
