Sabre Yachts is a leading manufacturer in building Downeast style motor yachts, based in Raymond, Maine since 1970. Sabre has exceptional world-class craftsmen and women in the boat building industry who craft beautiful luxury yachts.

Sabre is currently hiring electricians.

Electrician Description:

We are looking for a qualified year-round full-time electrician. This successful candidate will have a good knowledge of AC/DC systems. This position requires reading and following boat specs, along with comprehending simple instructions and mathematics skills.

Electrician Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow electrical blueprints
  • Good knowledge of AC/DC systems
  • Pulling and running wire
  • Wiring all electrical components (lighting systems, switches, breakers, navigation, etc)
  • Good knowledge of C-Zone and networked electronic systems
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Safe handling of chemicals

Electrician Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of electrical systems and components
  • Mathematical proficiency
  • Experience in using hand tools
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
  • Ability to work in small spaces
  • Pre-employment physical and background check
