Join SADA as a Senior Manager, Commissions Operations 

Your Mission

 

As a Senior Manager, Commissions Operations at SADA, you will be a key player of the Sales Finance team, an integral part of the Finance department. In this role, you will be scaling the Sales Comp foundation. You will work closely with RevOps & Finance, Sales, PeopleOps, and Legal to define, build, and scale a world-class sales compensation plan and operational foundation. The role will be reporting to the Managing Director, Revenue Operations.

 

The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a passion for developing talent and implementing strong controls to maintain efficiency and accuracy. This person excels at balancing strategic planning with execution and brings a deep knowledge of compensation.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and scale an effective team of global compensation analysts.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor and sales compensation leader to Director Sales Finance and Compensation and Managing Director, Revenue Operations.
  • Drive the operational management of sales compensation framework, including  reporting and analytics, administration, and dispute management to drive growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in PeopleOps, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and CGO to scale end-to-end sales compensation operations, including month-end close and accruals
  • Own business requirements and roadmap development for sales compensation and commission tools and related systems (NetSuite and others), in collaboration with SADA’s Business Systems team
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and drive efforts to improve the overall sales compensation foundation
  • Develop and maintain sales compensation processes and policy definitions, as well as build systems to ensure compliance with policies
  • Lead strategic analysis of plans for the executive team based on cost and performance
  • Drive operational efficiency by leveraging industry best practices and designing process, tool, and dashboard improvements to scale our high-growth business
  • Lead as sales compensation subject matter expert in our planning processes, sales performance/productivity reporting, and special projects
  • Build a team to support and scale this function as SADA grows

Expectations

Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

 

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in FP&A and/or commission analysis
  • 5 years sales compensation experience, with progressively increasing responsibility, complexity, and scale of work
  • Strong knowledge of sales incentive compensation concepts, sales data tracking processes, and methodologies.
  • Ability to drive change through influence and partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets and conduct scenario analyses/modeling. Keen focus on accuracy
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Aptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements
  • Experience with financial systems software
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of data query/data management tools

Useful Qualifications:

  • Experience with NetSuite
