Nonprofit Development Manager/Director (Fundraising) - HYBRID- San Jose

Our client is a growing nonprofit in the Bay Area with a mission focused on the inclusion of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a skilled Development Manager/Director to drive donor relations and fundraising efforts in their territory and, ultimately, drive revenue growth. This role will focus on building relationships and partnerships to enhance donor relations. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain diverse revenue streams from corporate and community sources.
• Collaborate within and outside the organization to create fundraising opportunities.
• Expand corporate support for events with the Events Director.
• Enhance engagement and giving levels of current partners.
• Proactively identify and engage potential corporate and community donors.
• Create compelling funding proposals showcasing offered programs.
• Ensure thorough follow-up and stewardship with funders.
• Assist in setting and monitoring annual goals for corporate and community giving.
• Utilize Salesforce for donor relationship management.
• Provide support for CEO and CDO with major donors.
• Assist with special events and volunteer management.
• Collaborate with various departments for innovative fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years in non-profit fundraising or sales.
• Proven success in fundraising or corporate sponsorship.
• Knowledge of non-profit fundraising principles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
