What You’ll Do Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the Safelite Way of Fitting (SWoF) and Safelite tools; train all newly hired technicians utilizing SafeTech Academy curriculum, including installation and repair advance modules. Provide continuing education utilizing the TAD (Technician Assessment Database) for existing technicians and repair specialists to ensure installation and repair compliance. Educate all store managers on SWoF so they can effectively lead and coach their associates and be an on-demand resource to store leaders on technical issues utilizing installation/repair KPIs. Ensure compliance with SafeTech Academy certifications and Installation and Repair Compliance Agreements. Lead the implementation of new processes, products and tools for installation, repair and recalibration. Partner with district leaders to provide technical guidance for escalated warranty and casualty loss customer issues. Provide updates to the district on changes to new and existing processes for installation, repair and recalibration. All other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent required. Certifications: Certified in the latest version of SafeTech Installation, Repair and Recalibration Certifications; Quality Starts with Safety II Certificaton; S.T.O.P Certification; 1,2,3 Easy Certification; Signed Installation Compliance Agreement. Valid state-issued driver’s license required. The ability to operate a Safelite van, following all safety, cleanliness policies, traffic laws, and maintain a safe driving record. Demonstrated excellence as a Safelite Technician; 5-7 years of leadership and supervision experience, preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; SV2, MRM and Belron TMD. The ability to work from a location within the assigned district; relocation assistance may be provided to associates to fulfill this requirement, as needed. Comfort working outside in a variety of weather conditions. Present a professional appearance and wear personal protective equipment. Physical requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs. for short periods, working at elevated heights, remaining on your feet for extended periods.
