As a primary contact for Safeway customers, the Bakery clerk Provides courteous, personalized customer service. Maintains proper inventory levels of products and ensures the cleanliness and appearance of the bakery. Assists in the sale of bakery products. Engages in suggestive selling and other sales techniques via telephone, in-store intercom, and one-on-one customer contact. Responsible for cost and quality control. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of bakery equipment and work area. Ensures safe work environment.
