Job Description:
Safra National Bank is seeking a Private Banking Assistant to interface with clients and other departments of the bank.
- Provide exceptional client service and flawless execution on client requests, inquiries and transactions such as money movement, security transfers, and loan transactions including escalated research requests Effectively collaborate with respective client facing teams and internal business groups to deliver and execute client transactions
- Proactively review and identify potential business opportunities for clients to engage in additional products and services
- Strategically impact the Client Service function and team as subject matter expert and advocate for change
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university Preferred
FINRA Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7 license required for the position; unlicensed candidates are considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
2 years of related experience in financial markets and/or financial products or related
Fluency in Spanish is required
Experience in a client-facing role working with high net worth Latin American clients.
Ability to discuss legal matters pertaining to the structure of investments and follow up with lawyers to obtain documents as necessary
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
