Work Experience
Entry Level to Mid-Range experience with patent prosecution and administration
Technical Proficiencies
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) CPI
Work Duties
- Analyze and process incoming and outgoing correspondence from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), clients, and associates
- Review and file documents with the USPTO
- Extract relevant information from correspondence and official USPTO databases
- Create patent and trademark prosecution files and generate due dates
- Support IP docket program
- Generate docket reports, monitor due dates and coordinate with attorneys and staff to meet all due dates
- Enter and manage matters in billing and document management systems
- Review and process USPTO, in-house counsel and client correspondence
- Communicate with USPTO, attorneys, paralegals, client staff, and foreign associates about docketing and prosecution matters
