Description
SAIC is seeking a Network Engineer Senior Manager to support the efforts of TACNET in San Diego, CA.
This role has hybrid remote capability.
Job Duties:
- Engage with TACNET Customers/Sponsor to support short and long term technical and engineering goals.
- Support implementation of strategic plans, best practices, standards and procedures.
- Champion training and mentoring FA Leads and staff as required.
- Interface with the PMW-160 Program Office; attend technical meetings, CNSC, technical exchanges, strategic discussions, etc.
- Serve as technical and engineering advisor across TACNET functional areas; generate technical papers, review technical and engineering documentation, as necessary, and provide technical guidance to functional areas as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Master's degree and 16 years of more experience.
- Proven experience (8 years) in designing, implementing, and managing Red Hat technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat OpenShift, including administration and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of automation tools, particularly Ansible, for configuration management and application deployment.
- Demonstrated expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, in conjunction with Red Hat solutions.
- Relevant Red Hat certifications, such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), are highly desirable.
