Position Purpose:
- Perform operational duties in order to provide safe and nutritious food to patients and customers of Saint Anthony Hospital cafeteria, Physicians' Dining, and catering events.
Essential Functions:
- Prepares, assembles, delivers and/or serves meals and nourishments for patients, cafeteria, Physicians' Dining room, and catering events. Sets up catering events following established departmental catering standards.
- Performs tray line tasks with an above average degree of accuracy.
- Receives all deliveries and assures accurate quantity and quality of products. Ensures and performs proper storage of merchandise.
- Performs cashier duties in the cafeteria and Physicians' Dining Room.
- Executes proper cleaning and sanitation of dishware, pots and pans. Ensures proper sanitation of Food-service facilities.
- Delivers tube feeding and floor stock to patient care areas.
- Completes quality control records/logs as appropriate and reports and deviations to supervisor.
General Job requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Able to work harmoniously with peers, supervisors, and other departments, visitors and patients
- Previous experience in dietary or food services preferred
- Ability to read and write English
- Sanitation certification preferred
