What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain position at Saint-Gobain?
This position is responsible for handling all administrative work required by the Supply Chain Department and coordinating with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production and Quality.
Essential Functions:
- Use safe practices and comply with all company policies, procedures and health, safety and environmental regulations, as required.
- Follow all safety requirements pertaining to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintains work space before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
- Complete all paperwork correctly and legibly.
- Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Supply Chain Manager.
- Responsible for performing and completing all tasks pertaining to the company’s product containment process.
- Assist quality, production, supply chain and engineering leads with nonconforming material control process.
- Maintains nonconforming material database through data entry of non-conforming material reports.
- Coordinates daily material review board meetings with Quality, Production, Supply Chain and Engineering leads.
- Assists MRB and supports supply chain in planning, updating and releasing rework routers.
- Responsible for managing and completing all required tasks for customer returns. Provides communication to the customer regarding the status and details of the return. Communicates return information to all interested parties at the Saint-Gobain site internally.
- Handle all customer returns and maintain communication with customers. Complete return material authorization. All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Required.
Experience:
- 3 years experience - Manufacturing experience in an ISO9000 setting; Required.
Practical/Technical Knowledge:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers, CMM, height stand, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain high attendance standards.
- Ability to strictly adhere to written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to work independently.
