You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist / Cath Lab Technologist.
You know how to stay organized and move fast. You respond calmly in high pressure situations.
You’re generous with your thoughts, your partnership and especially your voice in the Cath Lab because your opinion matters.
You’re great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.
Us.
Our Cath Lab has five state-of-the-art procedure rooms for performing numerous heart and vessel imaging studies and treatments. In the Cath Lab, highly trained specialists identify and diagnose heart problems, use medicines to dissolve blood clots, re-open blood vessels, and remove obstructions within blood vessels. Within the Cath Lab is our specialized Electrophysiology Lab (EP). Here, patients experiencing irregular heart rates (arrhythmias) can undergo diagnostic exams to identify the specific cause of the problem or to receive life-saving treatments such as pacemaker or defibrillator implants.
We have 2 Cath labs, 3 EP labs, 2 hybrid labs, 1 multipurpose room, 3 IR suites. We are an accredited chest pain center with strong STEMI program. Our labs perform all forms of cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures; diagnose and treat all forms of cardiovascular disease including balloons, stents, rhythm management, peripheral vascular and structural heart. We work in teams of 3, consisting of a cardiovascular technologist, a radiologic technologist and an RN.
We are proud to be an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Primary Stroke Center, and a private teaching hospital.
Saint Joseph Hospital is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 365-bed facility is one of the top-ranked hospitals in Denver, and has been awarded the highest national recognition possible for nursing excellence – Magnet designation – by the ANCC. We are proud to extend the mission of SCL Health by providing care for the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other. Our deep community roots date back to 1873, making us one of the oldest hospitals in Colorado.
Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, we’ve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and Paid Time Off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.
We.
Together we’ll align mission and careers, values and workplace. We’ll honor each other’s dignity and surpass the standards we set. We’ll encourage joy and take pride in our integrity.
