Neonatologist Provides patient care in Level II & Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Units; Daily Rounding on Neonates; Responds to Emergencies in the NICU & Newborn Nurseries; Attends Deliveries; Provides Education for Nursing staff & NICU team members; Assists w/ dvlp'g & maintenance of NICU Policies & Procedures; 24/7 Clinical assignment when on shift; Participates in Research & Qlty initiatives. Includes inpatient/outpatient srvcs, evening, night, weekend & on-call srvcs at SPUH (New Brunswick, NJ) & Hoboken University Medical Center (Hoboken, NJ). Schedule follows 1 week on 24/7 followed by 1 week off. Reqs. Doctor of Medicine (MD). Foreign deg. equiv acceptable if certified by ECFMG & passage of Step 1, 2, 3 of USMLE; Req completion 36 mth pediatric residency & 36 mth training in neonatology.
