Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our five Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, Robbinsdale and Woodbury.

Responsibilities: Provide spiritual support and guidance while walking alongside residents, family members, and team members in their faith journey within a Continuum of Care Community setting. Work closely as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team that creates valuable moments when providing support and meeting the needs and interests of individuals with acute challenges, hospice focus, palliative care and dementia based diagnosis.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theology, Pastoral Studies or related field experience desired. Completion of the Clinical Pastoral Experience (CPE) desired.
Experience: 5 years working in Pastoral Ministry in a health care setting preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- The interpersonal skills needed to work with distressed and anxious residents, families and staff.
- The communication skills necessary to counsel residents, families, and staff.
- The analytical ability to assess patients spiritual needs and sense of well-being and find appropriate solutions to resident problems.
- A commitment to those experiencing anguish and distress.
- A commitment to excellence in customer service. Always kind, warm and welcoming displaying Christ like values.
- Comfortable with prayer and spirituality.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office.
