Job Title: Program Manager
Location: St Louis , MO (Onsite)
Hire Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Data warehousing project
- Team maintains platforms, makes sure they are well configured & well architected
- Will be switching data warehouse vendors (cloud to cloud migration)
- Moving from Teradata to a new vendor - Who?
- Looking to add resources to assist
- Project completion deadline July 2024 (September 2024 more realistic)
- Head of the program (multi-million dollar project, over $5m in spend)
- Exceptional exp managing projects of this caliber (12 work streams/multiple departments)
- Facing VP audience, strong high-level communication
- Understand risk/dependency/inter-dependency/put together plans
- Mitigate issues/deliver on plan
- IT background
- Deploying servers, firewall issues, data movement, SQL, Python, Analytics, BI, Teradata (stored procedure)
- Have a BI/data warehousing background
- Opening firewalls, doing backups, migration planning (technical), deal with technical challenges (throughput limitations), manage usage costs/to budgets etc
