Saladelia Catering is looking for a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to lead our catering team. The Catering Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the catering department. This includes managing Catering Operations, Catering Coordinator, and event staff . This role requires a combination of leadership ability, sales acumen, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the food and hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored catering solutions.
Collaborate with clients to plan and customize menus and event layouts.
Manage logistics of events, from setup to breakdown, ensuring client satisfaction.
Timely communication with clients throughout the sales process, addressing any issues or last-minute changes promptly and professionally.
Manage catering staff schedule for catering coordinators, catering operations, and drivers.
Work in tandem with the kitchen leadership and staff to oversee food production, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation consistency.
Assist with any other catering related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or associate degree required
At least 3 years of proven experience in catering management or a similar customer-focused role.
Strong computer skills.
Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
Ability to multitask and manage various aspects of catering operations.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
Event planning experience.
