Our growing Norman, Oklahoma office is seeking an exceptional Plumbing Engineer/ Designer to join our team. The Plumbing Engineer/ Designer focuses primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.

Job Summary
Our growing Norman, Oklahoma office is seeking an exceptional Plumbing Engineer/ Designer to join our team. The Plumbing Engineer/ Designer focuses primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.
General Duties
- Design plumbing systems for various commercial buildings
- Perform design calculations and select equipment for use in buildings
- Prepare detailed design documents
- Write/Edit Specifications
- Research applicable building codes
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Site survey to determine and document existing conditions
- Provide construction administration services
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
- You have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
- Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to travel during normal working hours
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred but not required
- 4 years of experience without a degree (or 2 years of experience with a degree) in the design of plumbing systems for various types of facilities
