Program Information
Saliense will support this Program’s development and maintenance of the necessary artifacts for improved decision making for cost effective IT Modernization and efficient delivery of key services. The work products and results of this effort will enable the Agency to plan incremental improvements and evolution of its technologies to better align IT goals and priorities with business goals and objectives, mature the Capital Planning and Investment Control and EA programs, as well as to develop a technology roadmap for informed decision-making about investments to achieve a rapid response to changing mission priorities. The contractor shall add the data collected during the program’s development to the EA repository. Existing repository data will be updated as necessary. The architecture domains potentially affected include the business (capability and process), data, application, technology, and security.
The contractor shall also provide services to perform an application portfolio rationalization project whose goal is to identify applications which should be kept, replaced, retired, or consolidated. Corresponding changes will be implemented to business capabilities and processes, data management, technology, and security associated with each application. The iterative approach described in The Application Portfolio Rationalization Play Book provided by the CIO Council, and augmented as necessary to accommodate FSIS, will be followed throughout this contract.
To support this program we are looking to add a Data Analyst to the team with the following responsibilities;
Use established data analysis and business intelligence techniques to perform a deep analysis of the data that is collected from program offices and application teams.
Be responsible for leading the aggregation, interpretation, and analysis of the questionnaire data received from application teams, both qualitative and quantitative, via a robust, consistent scoring methodology.
Work closely with the Enterprise Architect and EA Technical Lead to review the application scoring
Present all outputs to the government for review.
Develop an algorithm to determine and quantify application duplication
Calculate TCO and identify cost outliers.
Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics or similar degree
