Position Summary:

Provides support for the rehabilitation services department in planning and providing patient care. Physical Therapy Tech will ensure smooth workflow for clinicians and a more pleasant experience for patients. Responsible for clerical support including, but not limited to, greeting patients and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner, obtaining new patient information, and checking in patients. The Physical Therapy Tech will schedule appointments, handle phone services, manage department records, and provide clerical/administrative support as well as tech or aide support to therapists and assistances as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
-
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Advanced training in secretarial skills and/or medical terminology preferred

Minimum Experience

· One-year clerical/secretarial experience preferred
· Healthcare experience preferred

Required Registration/License/Certification
-
· CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider] certification within first 90-days of employment.
