JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager, Sales Administration

JOB SUMMARY:
The SalonCentric Assistant Manager, Sales Administration manages the partnership between divisional brands and the Sales Administration team. This entails key account meeting planning and preparation of materials, meeting planning & prep, brand support, and communicating promotion calendar and promotional changes. The Assistant Manager, Sales Administration will manage ad hoc reporting as needed. This role reports into the AVP- Sales Administration.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and oversees key account meeting planning and preparation of materials; meeting coordination, brand support, communicating promotional calendar and promotional changes.
- Supports the established process to manage the brand loyalty programs including registration with the brands and ordering through direct coordination with the supporting Customer Service team.
- Works with the Sales Administration Managers to screen and coordinate all ad hoc reporting as requested by the Sales Regional Director and other field sales leadership with the AVP, Sales Administration.
- In coordination with the AVP Sales Administration, supports the Regional Vice President, Director and District Sales Managers requests for discounts, coordinate drop in promotions and liaison for account setup and management.
- Partners with Brands for selling tools, order entry support, marketing, inventory and reporting to support the field sales team.
- Recommends improvements and changes as deemed necessary to improve the sales support processes, operations and execution.
- Assists Director of Sales Administration and AVP of Sales Administration with any national project needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated success in an administrative or coordinator role. Preferred experience in the beauty industry, not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (including pivot tables, filtering and CSV files), One Note, Access, Microsoft Teams, Power Point, and SharePoint are required.
- Strong system and analytical skills, ability to quickly grasp new systems and utilizes technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and conflict management.
- Excellent organizational ability and time management skills; proven experience operating in a hi-tempo environment managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Accuracy and integrity of communications/information is required.
- Must be able to adapt to occasional flexible work schedule due to necessary deadlines and ad hoc reporting requirements.
Diplomatic style with professional, positive, friendly manner; practical, “roll up your sleeves” team player work style and positive “can do” attitude.
