To help us capitalize on this momentum, as well as to ensure proper handling of our current opportunities, we’re seeking an experienced marketing manager to lead our marketing efforts and join our vastly skilled (100 person) team
Who You Are:
The Marketing Manager at SaltWorks is a multi-faceted role. You are equal parts administrative/project-minded and creative. You are a strategist who has a foot in the here-and-now, and the long-term prospects of the company. You are an innovator who consistently looks to stay on top of (or ahead of) trends in marketing. You are fluent in the language of design, video, creative services, digital, e-commerce, and web, but know how to put all of those in layman’s terms for the average person. You mentor, coach, and guide teams of people to perform at their best and grow their skills, while knowing how to execute exceedingly well. You are empathetic, but unafraid of accountability, confident, but not arrogant, skilled, but constantly looking to learn. You are probably not a salt aficionado, but excited to become one.

Essential Duties:

  • Overseeing the management of the SaltWorks website (this includes content management, content creation, development of new content pages and HTML/CSS/Javascript tools and upgrades for the site, SEO research)
  • Planning and development of internal and external tools (microsites for clients, lists of all products and how we market them internally, etc.)
  • Coordinate 3rd party groups (including PR, Social Media and CPC/AMS) for both content creation/execution and strategy
  • People management for the marketing team (hiring, reviews, daily needs, and scheduling)
  • Overall project management (taking all incoming projects to the department, evaluating timelines, calculating and allocating resources, adhering to timelines to completion of projects, and identifying efficiencies for future projects)
  • Lead weekly Marketing meetings to provide status updates of projects and make decisions
  • Collaborate with Sales/QA/Engineering to build strategy for new product development
  • Coordinate, plan, and strategize for special events, tradeshows, etc.
  • Ability to work with changing priorities
  • Flexibility to take on additional tasks beyond what is outlined here
  • Support collaboration and communication within the marketing team
