SAM Mechanical in partnership with Crete United a leader in the National MEP Space is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling field staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of service calls and installations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist with incoming phone calls, service requests, and general customer inquiries
Communicate with colleagues including preparing and modifying documents, creating reports, etc.
Documentation: create and maintain sales opportunities within Salesforce.
Scheduling: develops a plan for what is to be done, what resources are required and when; coordinates with field staff, clients, and subcontractors to meet timetables for completion of work.
Change order management: Ensures that new information and/or additional scope of work is communicated with the client and a formal change order is submitted and approved0
Invoicing: Review completed scope summaries submitted from the field to ensure accuracy and scope completion. Submit a completed invoice to the Operations Manager for processing.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems and terminology to effectively communicate with technicians and customers.
Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, technicians, and other team members.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and creatively to resolve scheduling conflicts, address customer concerns, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in using scheduling software, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer Focus: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs and service demands.
