As a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP), you will work closely with the Human Resource team members to provide direction and support to management staff. In this role, you are responsible for providing and communicating information to all departments on State and Federal laws, employment practices, collective bargaining agreements, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, health, safety and security, and management practices. The ability to demonstrate advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, active listening skills, and empathy toward others as well as working with tact and understanding when dealing with others is essential for success in this role.
You may qualify for the position based on the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Four years of progressively responsible human resources experience with demonstrated experience in Human Resources as a generalist or HRBP involving employment and HR law, collective bargaining agreements/union negotiation, compensation and benefits, policy development, employee relations and investigation.
- Professional Human Resource certification is desirable; SHRM-SCP/CP or PHR preferred
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as HRIS Systems.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in communicating effectively with individuals of varying education and cultural backgrounds, excellent interpersonal skills, and oral and written business communication skills.

The individual in this position will need to be able to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates. This position requires confidentiality of personnel records, reports, and matters sensitive to the Human Resources Department.
This is a full-time, salary exempt position.
