NP – Long Term Care Opportunity

Package Highlights:

• Annual Salary: $110,000-$130,000, based on experience
• Relocation reimbursement: $5000/reimburse with receipts
• Signing bonus: $15000/three-year commitment
• Education Loan repayment: $10,000/year up to 4 years
• CME: $2000/annual and 5-paid days

The services needed by residents may vary widely, but the goal of our care is always the same: helping seniors to live exceptionally.

Practice Highlights:

• Samaritan Keep Home is a 272-bed senior care facility
• Conveniently connected to the main hospital campus
• Working in one location
• Monday thru Friday; flexible schedule
• On-call rotation
• Call is 1:6 additional pay beyond
• Types of patients treated include, but are not limited to short and long term rehab, orthopedic rehab, pain management, complex fracture recovery, complex wound care, IV therapy, speech, physical and occupational therapy.
• Make diagnoses, perform medical histories, physical exams.
• Prescribe medications, write orders, make entries in medical records, monitor effects of treatment.
• Complete insurance and medical discharge documentation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of approved course of study and experience acceptable to the State Education Department.
• New York State Licensed (or eligible)
• Minimum two years of experience as a nurse practitioner
• BLS
• Values patient centered care and has desire to work within team model
• Demonstrates top-notch interpersonal skills in addition to excellent clinical skills
• Enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best possible care and outcomes
