About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at Sweetlife by Sucro as a Logistics Dispatcher. You’ll be responsible for building and tendering loads to truckers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining detailed records. Your role is crucial in coordinating between customers, suppliers, and our internal teams to guarantee a seamless logistics process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and tender loads based on capacity and rates.
- Ensure all transport details meet customer and supplier requirements.
- Accurately document and communicate any changes to all relevant parties.
- Track and confirm shipment status, particularly during pickup and delivery.
- Collaborate with Sales, Phytos, and Invoicing teams as needed.
- Manage relationships with existing carriers and enhance the carrier base when necessary.
- Utilize DAT for benchmarking rates and negotiations.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as instructed.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
- Identify concerns and recommend solutions, taking initiative on repetitive tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of the organization.
- Creative, innovative, and proactive in problem-solving.
