About the role:
The Product Operations team enables our Product teams to build and deliver best-in-class products that delight our customers, and to do so in a way that is efficient, effective and scalable. As part of the team’s responsibilities, we play a critical role in supporting our hardware field test programs, enabling our product teams to successfully test and deliver new hardware products to our customers.
We are looking for a Field Test Operations Specialist to own logistics and project coordination related to field testing. The ideal candidate has an exceptional attention to detail, enjoys working cross-functionally and with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will:
- Work very closely with PMs, cross-functional teams, and customers to execute on hardware field test programs
- Serve as one of the key points of contact for the customer, including answering questions, collecting key field test information (e.g., vehicle compatibility, pictures), and scheduling feedback sessions
- Coordinate customer sourcing and sign ups across internal customer facing teams and/or customers
- Coordinate and ensure accuracy of shipment of hardware beta units to customers
- Monitor key installation metrics (e.g., shipped units, installed)
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination/management role
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at any given time, with a sense of urgency and clear prioritization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player who can work across multiple teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and is a self-starter
- Good understanding of data

- Comfortable with Tableau
- Experience with Salesforce
