Position Summary:
Samsung SDS plays a leading role in the global logistics market with unique logistics services. With its innovative IT technology, SDS developed the integrated logistics solution called “Cello” in 2010, started its logistics business in 2012 and expanded its logistics business with Business Process Outsourcing.
Samsung SDS America (SDSA) is looking for an individual experienced in Logistics Sales. This role requires significant interaction with clients and carriers to create new prospective clients and maintain the current relationship to transport customers’ freight utilizing SDS Logistics’ service. Also responsible for building and communicating with other SDS branch local sales teams to develop achieve sales goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and achieve sales target
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Cultivate new sales so that it can lead to establishing new business opportunities
- Responsible for securing and maintaining new business
- Provide RFQ (Request-For-Quote) for current and prospective clients
- Update and maintain Cello WKS system (PRS/Sales Activities)
- Work closely with the regional branch sales team
- Lead, develop, negotiate, and present sales strategies and coordinate with regional sales staff to enhance sales goals
- Develop internal branch sales accounts
- Manage and visit South America regional offices
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Communication, or Marketing/Sales preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in logistics sales required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a manager with a proven record of leadership and performance required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Collaborative team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills to solve problems with decision-making skill
- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office application such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to travel up to 35% International Travel (Mostly South America: Colombia, Peru, Panama, Chile, etc.)
