RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Coordinator of Behavior Services, the Behavior Specialist provides consultation, education and training to Client Services staff, clients, families and community partners on behavioral intervention approaches and resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field with knowledge and experience in behavioral analysis with adults, developmental disabilities, and the Mental Health field. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least two (2) years’ experience in the design and application of behavior intervention plans for individuals with a developmental disability and challenging behaviors, in a variety of settings including homes, hospitals, clinics, schools, adult day programs, or residential facilities. Mental Health background is desired.
STARTING SALARY
$31.19 to $34.29 an hour
