What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Tech / Clerk (Part Time) position at Sandstone Spring Valley?
The Dietary Tech works under the direction of the Director of Culinary Services. The Dietary Tech visits each patient to solicit orders from the menu to prepare mails for the following day. The Dietary Tech also provides basic administrative support to the Culinary Team as necessary.
The Job:
- Know and implement the mission of Sandstone Spring Valley.
- Learn the daily menus, and be able to explain each item to patients.
- Speak with each patient via telephone or in person to recieve their order.
- Provide administrative support to the Culinary Team as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
- 2 years experience in Customer Service.
- Proficiency with Windows operating system.
- 1 year experience healthcare kitchen experience.
- Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler's Card.
The Schedule:
- Sunday - Wednesday, 9am to 5pm.
