Location: Concord, NH - In Person

Compensation: $16.00-$16.20 per hour

Status: Full-Time

Reports to: Store Manager

About the Program:

Apprenticeship Occupation: Parts Salesperson

Terms of Apprenticeship: Approximately 2 Years (Competency Based) of paid on-the-job training

Related Instruction: 288 hours of related instruction provided by: Sanel NAPA, NHTI, Nashua Community College and WorkReadyNH.

Responsibilities:

• Learn about our extensive inventory of automotive parts and accessories.
• Develop the skills to provide outstanding customer care and interactions, assisting both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts and service inquiries.
• Learn to provide accurate and effective solutions for customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Utilize your growing parts knowledge to support fellow team members in answering customer questions.
• Bring a customer-focused approach and high energy to our fast-paced store environment.
• Welcome retail customers warmly and engage to ensure a positive consumer experience.
• Gain proficiency in using technology including computers, cash registers, telephones, and our paper catalog system.
• Actively participate in promoting workplace safety through safety huddles and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Receive training in using our TAMS system for point-of-sale invoicing and cash drawer management.
• Process credit card transactions using our credit card processing equipment.
• Familiarize yourself with customer pricing methods used by the store.
• Learn to efficiently secure the correct parts for customers on the first attempt.
• Undergo training to potentially open and close the store as needed to support store operations.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
