Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Chemist to join our team, specializing in the meticulous management of laboratory data quality for various environmental laboratory methods. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of data related to drinking water, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, and air analyses. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in overseeing laboratory data quality within the environmental sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience managing laboratory data quality for environmental laboratory methods.
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory methods related to drinking water, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, and air.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing environmental laboratory practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Responsibilities:
Data Quality Management:
Lead efforts to manage and maintain the highest standards of laboratory data quality for environmental projects.
Environmental Laboratory Methods:
Apply expertise in laboratory methods related to drinking water, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, and air analyses.
Client Communication:
Act as a technical liaison between the laboratory and clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of data reporting requirements.
