Job Description
To meet our growing needs, we are looking for an entry level Sales Administrative Assistant / Sales Support . This position is an integral part of the team that will ensure customer retention, providing excellent customer relations and pre-sales/post-sales support.We’re seeking a candidate who is excited about the opportunity to make a difference as the company evolves. In this job, you will be able to define and implement your own best practices as a sales office professional while working in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Team. As such, this position is ideal for an individual who can prioritize, provide excellent customer service and be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment where strong attention to detail is essential. Training will be provided to a candidate with the right energy and an upbeat attitude.Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and Sales Team
- Answer customer inquiries as quickly and efficiently as possible ensuring adherence to service level
- Gather pre-design project information from our lead services.
- Track projects that are in the bidding process and report on their status. Send projects to contacts as needed and request feedback.
- Grow and maintain relationships with dealer and distributor contacts as well as manufacturers reps.
- Support Sales Team with updated information and upcoming opportunities.
- Enter and modify sales-related data in CRM System and maintain Excel reports.
- While this is not a telemarketing position, you will be expected to make and take calls throughout the day. We are looking for a phone-friendly voice!
- Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D., college degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of previous customer service and/or office experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal.
- Proven ability to apply attention to detail, role-related accuracy and task follow-through.
- Ability to work with Microsoft (MS) Office, with focus on demonstrated working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels (e.g. sales, accounting, warehouses).
