POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist Role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The position helps form partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service reflecting the organization's business objectives. The HR Generalist is pivotal in shaping the company culture and supporting our continuous growth. This position will work out of our Leawood, KS office and will primarily be onsite with the potential to be hybrid/ remote one day a week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide consultation to managers and employees on compensation structures, benefits administration, and salary benchmarking. This includes knowledge of market trends and making recommendations on how the organization remains competitive in compensation packages.
- Provides expert guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practices that support our mission and objectives.
- Assist in identifying and implementing training programs, career development initiatives, and performance appraisal systems to enhance employee growth and productivity.
- Participate in employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and mediating conflicts.
- Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and HR software, using technology to streamline HR processes, data analysis, and reporting.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Assist with recruiting and staffing logistics – screen, interview and recruit job applicants for entry level, professional and clinical job openings.
- Instrumental in the on-going development of onboarding strategies to ensure an exceptional experience for new employees.
- Instrumental in developing strategies to promote diversity, equity, including and belonging.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or Talent role.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and respective federal and state employment laws.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent level of experience.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential ideal.
Salary : $51,900 - $65,800
