Main Responsibilities
- Independently perform experiments in human cells, including primary cells, iPSC-derived cells, and organoids, to validate targets and understand mechanisms of action.
- Deploy pooled and arrayed CRISPR screening.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate results to inform decision making.
- Collaborate with other researchers across Sanofi's therapeutic areas to translate high-value targets in diverse clinical indications.
- Explore, implement, and master new approaches in functional genomics, including new assay technologies and emerging single cell genomics approaches.
About you
- Hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, and/or genome editing:
- Mammalian cell culture, especially primary cell culture.
- Molecular and biochemical assays, such as qRT-PCR/NGS, western blot, flow cytometry.
- Genome editing and functional genomics tools such as CRISPR-Cas9 and/or siRNA.
- High-throughput arrayed screening, pooled screening, and/or laboratory automation experience will be valued.
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex results clearly through written and verbal communications.
- Instinctive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to learn.
