GENERAL SUMMARY (Describe the overall duties and responsibilities of the job):
Coordinate the effective preparation of materials and components for small run production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties required for successful job performance):
Automotive EDI ordering and working within an ERP system.
Responsible for effectively analyzing and maintaining MRP and PRP for inventory.
Liaison between Plant Operations, suppliers, and customer supply chains.
Purchasing automotive components and materials and analyze inventories.
Create manual invoices, match ASN’s, order acknowledgments and shipping approvals via customer portals (Nissan, Subaru, Toyota).
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (These are the traditional minimum, or required, bona-fide occupational qualifications and other requirements of most people in this job).
Bachelor’s Degree in Production / Inventory Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those needed to perform the essential functions of the job).
Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Effective organizational and time management skills; Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Data entry skills, using intermediate knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, and ERP data system
Working knowledge of materials/inventory management and procurement
Working knowledge of logistics, shipping, and billing functions
Experience with engineering prints and drawings, a plus
REQUIRED DECISION-MAKING AND ORGANIZATION IMPACT (Describe the typical types of decisions made by employees in this job and the likely impact of those decisions on the Company).
This position must coordinate data for production of Prototype/Service parts. If poor decisions are made, possible problems could include components not available, manufacturing process steps being delayed, delayed shipments, and generally not meeting customer requirements

This position reports directly to the Prototype and Service Manager

WORKING CONDITIONS (Describe the environment within which the work is performed).
Combination of office and manufacturing environments
Overtime of varying levels may be required
Occasional travel may be required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to travel throughout manufacturing and materials storage areas
Periodically lift up to 40 lbs.
Periodically climb ladders to reach overhead storage areas
