What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Circulating Nurse position at Sansum Clinic?
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under direction of Surgical Services leadership; RN specialist circulator is the person responsible for managing the care of the pediatric and adult patient requiring a surgical procedure that requires moderate to complex assessments, interventions and levels of nursing vigilance.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE:
· Must have a valid license in the State of California as a Registered Nurse. Extra certifications pertaining to field of specialty preferable but not required.
· Current CPR certification at time of hire is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or dually certified in both AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support and AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support
· A minimum of one (1) or two (2) years recent acute care or ambulatory care experience as an RN is preferred or experience in specific specialty.
