Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of eServices and Quality Control, the eServices Specialist will assist credit union members with card charge-backs, card issuing, blocking, or renewal of credit /ATM /debit cards, in addition to other relevant support responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Process credit union member requests for charge-backs according to established procedures, including giving provisional credits; processing items into exception general ledger; mailing follow-up letters; inputting charge-backs to vendor, all under strict timelines and with a high degree of accuracy;
Review card reports prior to their upload to card processing vendor, with attention to detail;
Issue debits/credits to members based on daily card exception reports and provide Finance Department with exception details;
Contact members and process CAMS (Compromised Account Management System) and FICO reports from Visa; order lost/stolen replacement cards, as necessary;
Process returned cards; input into card log; maintain in dual controlled vault;
Review Payveris transactions and alerts for suspicious activity; update member profile to mitigate potential fraud on digital banking platforms; process Payveris exceptions;
Assist with fraud alert and open cards on closed account reports, as needed;
Set up and maintain credit card authorized user profiles through XP2 software;
Assist with incoming and outgoing wires as needed;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma; Associate’s Degree preferred;
At least 1 year of related experience in a similar role;
Proficient organizational; time management; attention to detail and high level of accuracy skills;
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment;
Proficient Microsoft Word and Excel skills;
Computer savvy; familiarity with various industry-related software applications such as XP2; working knowledge of office procedures, filing systems and equipment such as 10-key calculator;
Exemplary verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
$20.34 - $30.51 per hour DOE for this full-time non-exempt position.
