What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Santa Maria Pharmacy?
Santa Maria Pharmacy is a family-owned pharmacy that has been in business for over 9 years. We have several locations in California: Anaheim, El Monte, Paramount, Las Vegas, and Pomona. Mandatory Qualities:
- Bilingual (English and/or Spanish)
- Driver's License
- Excellent Customer Service

- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Primarily drive en route to Los Angeles, CA for delivery of medications to residential home addresses, with possibility for deliveries in surrounding areas.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, typically starting routes between noon and evening.
- Calling patients to verify their address and estimated time arrival of their medications.
- Must be punctual and fully complete deliveries
- With limited time schedule, must make sure to deliver medications as instructed.
- Advise the dispatcher of the incomplete deliveries and why they were not delivered.
- Must have an adequate vehicle with working A/C for perishable refrigerated items and a vehicle large enough for 12"x12"x12"
- Must know the one way and two way streets of Los Angeles, as well as parking areas which may include short distance walking.
