Consultant, Human Resources Technology - Workday Project Manager

USA Job Family Description: Designs, implements, and monitors human capital programs and policies including total rewards, talent management, learning and development, recruitment and employee relations. Anticipates and plans for long-term people-related needs and trends. Ensures current employees have the necessary skills for future requirements. Maintains HR information systems.

USA Job Function Description: Develops, configures, supports and maintains the HR information systems. Analyzes business requirements and develops or modifies programs to ensure the effective storage, retrieval and reporting of employee data. Ensures integrity of HR databases and provides HRIS systems support to end-users. Prepares and/or supervises the production of HRIS reports and subsequent data analysis.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
Acts as subject matter expert providing functional and technical guidance to team.
Provides expert consulting, HRIS program and policy design, and identification of best practices of the HRIS function.
Provides support by researching and resolving complex issues, which includes reviewing and testing process flaws, and developing complex reports to support business needs.
Documents and maintains all system configurations, procedures, user documentation and system updates.
Conducts formal and informal training sessions regarding HRIS features and functionality.
Proactively identifies opportunities for system enhancements and engages and consults with functional owners providing detailed system-based options for resolving complex business process issues.
Manages and oversees implementation of a HRIS system, which includes system upgrades, enhancements, and data integration, while ensuring data integrity and security.
Actively participates in annual HR projects (e.g. open enrollment, performance management, merit cycle, etc.) by leading and collaborating on the process / system design, configuration, testing and providing support post-launch.
Works collaboratively with HR team members, Payroll and Finance and other appropriate stakeholders to analyze current processes, identify new system functionalities, recommend and implement changes.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in HR, Information Technology, or equivalent field. (Req)

Work Experience:
Experience implementing, developing and managing HR Systems., 5-9 years (Req)

Minimum experience with Workday system, 2-3 years (Req)

Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication and customer service skills focusing on resolving end users issues quickly and accurately.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and define how the HRIS and HR processes meet business needs
Understanding of Workday and HR systems.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively on a team and build relationships in a global environment
Exemplary critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to find solution efficiently, quickly, and implement appropriate changes.
Progressive initiative with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong technology and computer skills, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experience implementing global HRIS platforms such as Workday and supporting functional areas or modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Organizations, Security, or Compensation.

Consult and guide teams regarding Workday system configurations/enhancements to ensure goals, projects, and legal/regulatory requirements are met.

Demonstrated project management skills and ability to actively manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
