SALES CONSULTANT – Northwest Region
FULL TIME / EXEMPT
THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you someone that likes to manage a sales territory like it’s your own business? Do you enjoy pursuing new business, have a strategic mindset, and have an entrepreneurial spirit? Santinelli International has recently joined the Advancing Eyecare family, creating an opportunity for an experienced SALES CONSULTANT to manage the Northwest Region. You will market our service and sell lens finishing equipment to optical stores in the region.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a SALES CONSULTANT, you will operate within the Northern California, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming markets. You will have an exceptional career opportunity to present our company’s suite of services while pursuing new accounts and business opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will work within a diverse environment and collaborate with other sales consultants to drive positive results.
You will also:
Travel extensively throughout assigned territory and meet clients onsite. (Air or Auto Travel with 2-3 overnights on average, per week)
Understand, communicate, and present all aspects of our solutions and products.
Perform installation of equipment and service and troubleshoot as needed.
Train and demonstrate how to use our products to customers.
Attend and represent the company at tradeshows and industry meetings.
Work independently within your own in-home office and can prioritize workload with limited resources.
Utilize CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to manage and track leads through the sales cycle.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
We are looking for a SALES CONSULTANT who is comfortable leading a complex sales process and can build relationships with a diverse team. You should enjoy traveling, have excellent customer service qualities, and thrive in high-growth environments. You should also have:
Optical sales experience is a huge advantage, but a successful sales history selling capital equipment is needed.
An Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for extended periods of time, required.
Proven experience troubleshooting and problem-solving
Good presentation skills a must.

WHAT WE OFFER
SALES CONSULTANTS will enjoy a base salary with commission and bonus. There is a monthly car allowance of $600/month, company cell phone, and reimbursement for travel expenses.
