What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residence Manager position at Saratoga Bridges?
We are looking for an energetic person to oversee a group home for people with developmental disabilities. The real joy in this job is being with the people you support. Helping a person go to a concert, a movie, out to dinner with friends, or out for a cup of coffee are the highlight of your and their day.
We have houses in Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs that operates under OPWDD regulations, and you should be familiar with these regulations. Making sure that the people who live there are safe, goals are being documented, and that there is staffing coverage are some of highlights of this position. Skills that are useful are strong organizational skills, great people skills, problem solving skills, and flexibility in schedule. Oh, and you must like paperwork.

Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field & 1 year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities OR 4 years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Supervisory experience preferred
- NYS Driver’s License

- 4 years of experience working with people with a developmental disability and a high school diploma
- 1 year of experience working with people with a developmental disability and a bachelor's degree in a human services field
Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better
- High School or better
