- Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day responsibilities

- In-depth knowledge of transloading and rail yard operations is a must
- Hands on, hard-working, self-starter
- Ability to hire and train Team Members
- Must have leadership skills to ensure Team Members follow procedures at all times
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with and perform basic computer operations (spreadsheet, word processor, and email operations), and general office organization
- Good written and oral skills with an ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, and other company personnel
- Dynamic personality to put safety first and lead Team Members
- Hands-on experience with transloading and rail movements
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements
- Desire and willingness to learn
- 5 years rail yard management experience preferred, but not required.
- 5 years’ experience with transloading preferred, but not required.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- This position is required to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions
- Must be able to work outdoors in various climates for up to 12 hours
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Must be able to climb steps and ladders
- Must have the ability to work, walk, and stand on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods of time
- Position may require some travel for training purpose
