What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Department Manager and Cutter position at Save-A-Lot?
Must have meat cutting/butcher experience in a retail/grocery environment
Will be responsible for the sales and gross profit of the meat department
Cut fresh meat to fill case every day
Order fresh and packaged meat with focus on store needs and gross profit
Schedule and manage several meat room employees
Able to work in a cold environment
Clean meat room
Put trucks away
Wrap meat
Must be available to work day shift.
Must be available weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
