Sayres, a leading provider of defense support services to the DOD in the shipbuilding industry, is currently seeking an experienced SENIOR LEVEL LOGISTICIAN with a SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Crystal City, VA.
Hybrid Remote/Government Site: Minimum 3x per week in office in Crystal City, VA
SR Logistics Role
- Coordinate and assist in development of required lifecycle logistic program, milestone, logistic support plans and logistic considerations in planning documentation
- Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Product Support Management (PSM) elements including Product Support Management, Maintenance Planning and Management, Supply Support, Technical Data, Manpower and Personnel, Training and Training Support, Design Interface, Facilities and Infrastructure, Sustaining Engineering, Computer Resources, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, and Support Equipment
- Experience supporting cross functional integrated project teams; test, risk management, configuration
- Coordinate, gather input, and support logistic meetings, prepare briefs, and record action items from all logistics related meetings
- Coordinate and assist with submitted Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Integrated Logistics Assessment (ILA) check lists, documentation trackers, and logistic schedules to support program lifecycle events
- Provide review and critical analysis of proposed RFPs, Technical Instructions (Tis) CDRLs, plans and scheduling from logistic perspective
- Knowledge of DoD funding requests and associated logistics documentation to support inputs and reviews
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.)
Requirements
- an associate's degree and twenty (20) years of relevant experience, or
- a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, or
- a master's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant experience.
