Safety Clerk

• Clearing House

• Employee is responsible to make sure that every driver is checked on Clearing house
• In the case of a driver appearing positive on a drug screening they are responsible to issue the help required, and help driver complete all process to clear driver in clearing house.

• Randoms

• Employee is responsible to verify and advise driver for a random screening drug test.

• Vehicle Violations

• Employee is responsible to enforce drivers with the tools required to avoid and prevent any future violation.
• Employee is responsible to communicate and explain in detail safety regulations to drivers, and to re-enforcement safety regulation in every meeting.
• Employee is responsible to advise all drivers of regulation and requirements changes.

• E-Logs

• Employee is responsible to run daily report to verify that all drivers are running properly.
• Employee is responsible to alert any malfunctioning device related to the E-log.
• Employee is responsible to train drivers on e-log regulations.

• Permits

• Operational Units

• Employee is responsible to verify and update wit a copy of all proper documentation to drivers as needed.
• Employee is responsible to advise drivers of needed documentation.

• Drivers

• Employee is responsible to advise and update with driver current information such as license, permits, contact information and other.
• Employee is responsible to advise drivers of any new change to company’s policy, or Federal Regulations.
• Employee is responsible to verify background checks for new hiring drivers.
• Employee is responsible for employment verification of new hires.

• Driver Assistance

• Employee is responsible to help and assist driver in safety related issues or questions that might arise while on duty.

• MVR review

• Employee is responsible to update, review, and complete annual review for each driver after driver has complete milestone in company.

• Driver absence of leave

• Employee is responsible to track driver absence of leave and return to work duties.
• Employee is responsible to advise and coordinate among other departments to avoid shortage of drivers.

• Employee is responsible to coordinate, explain, and interpret company and federal regulations to drivers upon hiring process or as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
