Job Summary


C3 is a cutting-edge food and beverage platform consisting of an array of limited-service culinary brands focused on disrupting the food & beverage industry by capitalizing on rapidly evolving customer preferences such as food halls, ghost kitchens and mobile delivery. With operations in multiple cities across the country including Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago and beyond.

 

Help us grow our customer base in a variety of creative ways while working closely with other members of the team and the managing partners on a daily basis. This is the perfect role for an individual who enjoys making relationships, developing B2B opportunities, connecting and empowering others, is an ambitious go-getter, and has strong outside sales experience.

 

This role serves as a sales development position for regional markets by partnering closely with Business Units and cross-functional teams to create and deliver on sales strategies that incorporate social media, email, creative & messaging development, digital advertising, and events, through leadership/content and sales support.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities / Reporting


This role reports to the Vice President / Head of Business Development 

 

Responsibilities / Duties


  • Map and research local businesses and major corporate brands to develop relationships with for potential business development, expansion, and catering opportunities for owned geography.
  • Launch and grow customer accounts across the country, representing emerging food brands as well as CITIZENS GO technology and data-driven solutions for emerging brands.
  • Create list of target customers and partners and aggressively seek out relationships for multi-unit business and sales partnership opportunities.
  • Ability to effectively field, inbound leads, while simultaneously prospecting outbound targets. 
  • Organize and maintain development pipeline. 
  • Network across industries including food & beverage, hospitality, residential, entertainment, sports, airports, and local associations.
  • Drive sales and app downloads by creating business relationships and packages that connect with the local audience.
  • Sell and distribute a disruptive food-technology focused on the B2B food supply chain and culinary innovation.
  • Responsible for driving growth and differentiation among regional business distribution channels.
  • Developing and executing integrated, multi-channel sales & marketing engagement strategies for B2B and B2B2C
  • Develop a book of business: finding leads, nurturing, and converting those leads into partnerships.
  • Evaluate partnership sales opportunities and success with data driven sales.
  • Target audience will be business and restaurant owners and managers who can use our proprietary technology solutions to grow their business and funnel into C3.
  • Responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s channel expansion strategy.
  • Support national operational projects and lead local sales projects.
  • Actively soliciting new business opportunities by conducting effective sales calls, makes off- site sales calls, mailers, emails, and presentations to potential clients
  • Generating sales that will maximize revenue while developing and maintaining long term relationships with clients. 
  • Build partner-facing proposals, helping develop new business around strategic partners and supporting strategic relationship management.
  • Primarily work remotely but will attend in person meetings/appointments with client and partnership advocates.
  • We are looking for someone outgoing with strong relationship building skills, ingenuity, a strong understanding of the food industry.
  • Reporting directly to the head of sales, who reports to the CFO.
  • Attending local trade shows, participating in sales blitzes and other off-site sales efforts
  • Negotiate, contract, and monitor account agreements and productivity.

 

Competencies


  • Knowledge of Sales and some Marketing: ideally a retail-focused food technology
  • Creative problem solver who doesn’t get discouraged easily.
  • Data-oriented to guide actions.
  • Flexible self-starter with attention to detail who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to adapt and move fast with the growth of the company -Hustler Attitude -dependability, patience, and diligence all important
  • Action-oriented, high performer able to translate marketing strategies into tangible solutions.
  • Understanding of agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, franchise agreements, service agreements, and similar documents. 
  • Innovative thinker with a strong sense of urgency
  • Passion for new and exciting brands
  • Willingness to travel

 

 

Skills/Qualifications


  • CRM experience or quick learner
  • Knowledge or experience with strategic partnerships, retail sales and/or partner marketing
  • Experience preferred working in a fast-growing marketplace, food delivery technology or both
  • Project management experience or knowledge, including digital marketing, messaging/content development, B2B /lead gen marketing, events, social media, and sales enablement support.
  • Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Work, databases)
  • Interpersonal skills, strong guest/client relations

 

 

Work Authorization


Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.

 

Education / Experience / Credentials


Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Language


Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and interpret business documents in the English language.

 

Travel


Must have access to reliable transportation locally, as this position requires full time to be spent at the corporate office and at business units locally.

Additional travel may be required several times per year for trade shows, conventions, industry conferences, and/or client meetings. 

 

 

COVID-19 Precautions

 

This position will be based at the corporate office. Personal protective equipment is always required when at the office, as well as following social distancing guidelines, and health and safety measures of hand sanitizing and cleaning procedures.
